Birmingham Arts and Music Festival presents free event for kids

We’re kicking off the season of Fall festivals in Birmingham with the 2nd Annual Birmingham Arts and Music Festival (BAAM Fest) this weekend, August 12th-14th.   With over 150 acts spread across 11 venues downtown, BAAM Fest celebrates Birmingham’s musical roots and showcases fantastic talent.

This year, families can enjoy KIDFest! presented at the McWane Plaza from 10am until 2pm on Saturday.  This is a free event for families.   Enjoy music, dancing and art presentations throughout the day.

Looking ahead — next weekend is Stokin’ the Fire at Sloss and the following weekend, August 26th-28th, is Sidewalk Film Festival.
