Spring Break Camps in Birmingham
Spring Break 2012 is just 6 weeks off — here is a list of local venues offering educational and entertaining childcare options for your school-aged child.
Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve will be offering a series of day long camps to educate and entertain. From 9am – 3pm, with extended care available, campers will learn about the geology of rocks, dirt, Spring, art, and wetland wonders. Each day is $40 — sign up for the whole week or specific days by contacting programs@ruffnermountain.org.
McWane Science Center provides excellent programming for ages 4k-6th grades in a half day or full day format. Click here for more information.
Birmingham Zoo offers camps for 4k through 8th grade where your child will enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of the zoo and the opportunity to learn about the variety of species at our zoo. For more information, visit their website.
YMCA – various locations of the YMCA offer reasonably priced, entertaining and fitness-focused Spring Break camps.
