Hydrangeas and Art: Aldridge Gardens Art Show

Saturday, June 2nd is the Aldridge Gardens Art Show, perfectly timed to showcase the magnificent hydrangea collection as the backdrop.

This juried  art show gives Alabama artists the opportunity to showcase their work and be recognized among their peers. This wild-eyed opossum is a whimsical example of the art that will be on display this weekend (perhaps he is caught in the headlights).

Besides the fascinating art, Aldridge is a treat all its own. There are areas of lawn and shade surrounding a peaceful pond, and if you’ve never taken a morning walk there, you’ve missed out. Artists and gardens are a natural fit; spend some time enjoying both this weekend.
