Splash Adventure Hosts KidzPalooza July 7th and 8th

The former Alabama Adventure has enjoyed a makeover or rather a ‘while you were out’ moment. During the winter, it was reshaped, renamed and expanded to emerge this summer as the new and improved Splash Adventure Water Park.   As one could surmise, Splash Adventure is 100% water park including new water rides like the Zip Line, and the Mist-ical Maze (with more to come).

This weekend, Splash Adventure will host KidzPalooza.  Although, I’m completely over the use of the suffix”palooza” this really looks like the perfect excuse to visit Splash Adventure.   From 12pm – 4pm, children can meet their favorite Nickelodeon characters, Dora the Explorer and Diego, while also enjoying inflatables, sand art stations, bubble stations and temporary tattoo art.  As well, everyone will enjoy the many water rides available for Birmingham families.

Daily admission to the park is $25.99 per adult (42 inches and above), $19.99 per child (below 42 inches) and children under 3 are free. Additional charges to expect include parking, locker rental and food.   You can leave the park and return to your car throughout the day (get a hand stamp) so one might consider packing lunch in a cooler left in the car to save a bit (coolers are not allowed in the park).

Don’t Forget: Water shoes, sunscreen, wet wipes, hats/sunglasses for you and the little ones, and a camera for that shot with Dora!
