George W. Ancestor at Pelham Cracker Barrel?

Looks a lot like dubya to me

Maybe it’s because we’re coming off of Halloween and ghost stories, but I looked up from my Momma’s breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Pelham (off I 65) and could have sworn I saw an image reminiscent of George W. above the fireplace.

Anytime I go into a Cracker Barrel I can’t help but wonder about the people in the vintage photographs and frames. I’m certain the idea behind the old tools and road signs is to create a nostalgic ambiance for the olden days, whatever those were. This photograph took me back to the oughts of the 21st century, although it is likely from the oughts of the 20th.

It’s difficult to get a good picture with the reflection from the ceiling lights on the convex glass, but take a look the next time you visit the Pelham Cracker Barrel and see what you think.
