Formed in1977, the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club now makes the sport of soccer available to over 1800 children a year. Competitive and recreational programs are offered in both the spring and fall. The recreational program serves boys and girls aged 5 to 19. Competitive teams are formed at age groups U-11 through U-19 with a minimum of one or more competitive teams per age group.
VHSC also offers several skills-specific camps and half day summer camps. |

Southside Baseball Association
Southside Ball Association is a community based youth sports program that operates at Avondale Park Fields. The organization has a long history of providing great opportunities for boys and girls to succeed in sports as well as life. Currently Southside Ball fields Teeball teams (ages 4 – 6), and Baseball (ages 7 – 14). In 2009, we had over 180 children playing at Avondale Park.
