Alabama Theatre 2011 Holiday Film Series – A Birmingham Holiday Classic

The Alabama Theatre, again, presents it Holiday Film Series for families.  Beginning December 11th and continuing through December 22nd, Birmingham families can enjoy holiday classics in a magical place at a reasonable price ($7 for adults; $6 kids under 12).    The movie schedule includes classics like Miracle on 34th Street as well as more current hits like Elf.  Additionally, movie goers can enjoy refreshments including wine (a little treat for Mom) and singing carols with the Mighty Wurlitzer.  Honestly, you have not fully experienced Christmas in Birmingham if you have not sung carols in the Alabama Theatre prior to a classic movie.   It’s delightful to hear the young voices mix and float in that grand space.
