Food Truck Round-Up for Preschool Partners Promises Food & Fun
You won’t have to follow a Facebook post or a Tweet to know where to find some of Birmingham’s best food trucks this Saturday, April 26th. They’ll be at Food Truck Round-Up, a family-friendly event that benefits Preschool Partners and will take place at the upper level parking for Macy’s at Brookwood Village (the upper level parking is outdoors behind the Macy’s end of the mall, not to be confused with the parking decks).
There is something about spending a spring afternoon milling around with happy people, music and dogs that makes everything seem right in the world. Add food trucks (well, the beer stands don’t hurt either), and you have all the makings of a fun family outing.
Purchase tickets in advance for $20 each through 4 p.m. on Friday, April 25th (or purchase at the gate for $25). Each ticket includes four tokens to be used for trade with the food trucks/beer stands from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday; additional tokens are only $2 each. Kids under 10 get in free, and just think about the freedom of outdoor dining where everyone can dress comfortably and not worry about tipping a server extra as an apology for all the crumbs.
